Public Notice: New Hanover County Board of Commissioners to hold Special Meeting September 8

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC - The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the New Hanover County Government Center, Conference Rooms 138-139, 230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, NC. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to enter into closed session pursuant to North Carolina General Statute (NCGS) 143-318.11(a)(3) to consult with its legal counsel in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between legal counsel and the public body.
